St. Pepin Grape
St. Pepin - Early September, Very fruity Germanic style white wine.
       
Seyval Blanc - Mid September, Produces white wine with attractive aromas of grass, hay and melon. A beautiful grape for superior Chablis or champagne.

Vignoles Grape Vignoles - Mid September, Produces an excellent dessert wine, especially when picked late in the season.
       
Delaware - Mid September, An old red cultivar, very sweet and mildly foxy. For juice and white wine, widely used for champagne. Delaware Grape

Geneva-White#5 - Mid September, An un-named Cornell University hybrid that makes an aromatic German-style wine with a slight American Muscat flavor or an excellent white grape juice.
       
Cayuga White - Mid September, Wine is clean, neutral, light, resembles white Riesling, excellent.

Horizon - Mid September, Fruity, clean, tart wine, with good body and balance. A good lower acidity neutral blending wine.

Chardonnel - Late September, Crisp white wine similar to Chardonnay.

Can grapevines survive very cold weather?

Yes - But there are a lot of variables. Grapevines are rated according to their hardiness. The USDA rates growing areas from 1 to 11 with 1 being the coldest. Most of the vines that we grow have a hardiness rating of from 3 to 6.
